With a whisk in one hand and an adventurous spirit in the other, Sara De Leeuw is an energetic home cook who has captured the hearts and appetites of fans across the globe. Starting with her food blog, My Imperfect Kitchen, Sara has gone from sharing simple recipes and food-related outings to attaining some impressive food accomplishments.

When Sara is not blogging, she serves as the charming co-host of the podcast, Food Blog Radio. Alongside her co-host, Gary House, Sara conducts interviews with food bloggers from all around the world.

Sara is also the exclusive columnist for IEShineOn.com’s popular column, “Sara’s Kitchen Adventures: Recipes with a Local Flair.” In this unique column, Sara ventures to Inland Empire-based establishments to attain local ingredients to feature in her seasonal recipes.

Sara is a Master Food Preserver, a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) as well as a certified BBQ judge for the Kansas City BBQ Society.

In addition to giving community demonstrations for the Master Food Preservers, Sara can be found entertaining crowds with demos at special events like LA Cookie Con or judging local cupcake and pie festivals to judging National and International food competitions, such as The World Food Championships!

Sara likes to focus on giving back, as a supporting blogger for Team No Kid Hungry, volunteering for local events such as Taste of the Nation, Los Angeles and participating in annual community bake sales for No Kid Hungry!

Sara loves exploring new techniques and recipes, and she enjoys adventuring all over the world seeking delicious bites of knowledge and shared-food experiences!
